I'm Sox. I produce, engineer and mix records from my studio Ctrl P in South Bermondsey, residential studios as well as other spaces when needed.

I came up in the South London DIY scene, running an independent music venue whilst writing, recording and touring with my band Tugboat Captain. I love opening up the internal architecture of a song, finding the rooms inside it that the demo only hints at, and building them out until the track sounds like the world you imagined. Sometimes that means a band playing live in a room, sometimes building a song piece by piece - I’ll help you find the right path. I'm good at the long haul. Albums and EPs run end to end, from the first voice memo through demos and pre-production to a finished master. Working with me is easy. I'm friendly, I'm open and I'll tell you straight when something isn't working.
